Los Angeles is the second largest city in the USA and is a world destination for business, entertainment, culture, media, fashion and technology. Known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World", Hollywood leads the world in production of television and movies. Of course LA also has sunny beaches, Disneyland, Universal Studios and one of the world's most vibrant nightlifes in the world.
The Greater Los Angeles Area covers almost 5,000 square miles that are filled with things to see and do in your time off. LA is home to SIX theme parks. Disneyland is granddaddy of LA's parks but it's now joined by Disney's California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags Magic Mountain (not to be missed by rollercoast lovers), Universal Studios Hollywood and Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier (frequently seen in movies and TV). For TV fans, take the opportunity to be in the audience while your favorite show is filmed.
For sun lovers, LA has world famous beaches from the eclectic Venice Beach to the glamorous Malibu Beach and south to the famous Laguna Beach. Shoppers have an incredible range of options that includes the very exclusive Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
