The Med/Surg Licensed Vocational Nurse works under the administration of a physician and a registered nurse taking care of patients before and after medical procedures. Med/Surg LPNs main job is to ensure the safety and comfort of the patient.
- Monitoring the patient’s pain levels and help with any cuts or infection sites.
- Documenting the patient’s condition before and after operations.
- Aiding the nurse in dealing with multiple patients at the same time.
One year of experience as a Med/Surg LPN within the past two years.
Current RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
