Job Description

The Med/Surg LPN works with the administration of a doctor and a RN taking care of patients before and after procedures. Med/Surg LPNs main job is to make certain the safety and comfort of the patient.

Responsibilities


  • Monitoring the patient’s pain and take care of any cuts or infection sites.

  • Evaluating the patient’s well being before and after surgery.

  • Assisting the RN in handling several patients at the same time.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Med/Surg LPN within the past two years.


Active Nursing License in good standing.


Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.


Negative Drug Screen.
