Peak whale watching is from May through September. You can catch a whale watching cruise or watch from land at Lime Kiln Point State Park. Whale watching is just one way to enjoy Washington's Pacific Coast--Washington has over 3,000 miles of saltwater coastline for you to explore.

Washington has two mountain ranges for you to enjoy. The Olympic Mountains on the Olympic Peninsula and the Cascade Range which stretch south to include the Columbia River Gorge.

The Sterile Processing Tech specializes in sterilizing, prepping and packaging surgical equipment and tools. Sterile Processing Techs must have advanced knowledge about surgical instruments and different methods to decontaminate and prevent infections.

Responsibilities

As a Sterile Processing Technician your responsibilities consist of:
  • Ensuring all medical instruments and tools are sterilized and all safety precautions are followed.
  • Managing inventory of surgical equipment and supplies by stocking and placing orders.
  • Check and test all surgical equipment, instruments and tools for defects or problems prior to surgeries.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician within the past two years.
  • Active Nursing License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
