If a travel nursing contract spent in a warm, tropical climate exploring one of the most exciting and eclectic cities in the US sounds like a dream come true, head to Miami. As a bustling city, there are endless options for exploration, especially for nurses that like to spend a contract trying out delicious local cuisine and experiencing galleries and museums.
Miami's South Beach is known for being a go-to stop for people watching during the day and exciting nightlife in the later hours. If you would rather relax after a busy shift, the beach stretches on for miles and miles and becomes a quiet retreat as you head north. You can also take a break from the city life and check out the nearby Everglades. The air-boat tour is a popular choice for prairies, swamps, and wildlife of the 'glades.
Contract nursing's greatest perks are the varied adventures that travel nurses experience. While in Miami, you can see the city from above with a Miami Balloon Tour, experience the full range of Miami cuisine with a South Beach Food Tour. Sports fans will be excited to be in the home of the NBA's Miami Heat and might even be there during the excitement of the Orange Bowl.
