If you'd like to spend your next travel contract in a growing city that contains natural wonders as well as a vibrant art and music scene, Tucson could be the perfect choice. The warm desert sun makes Tucson a great place to enjoy the outdoors or enjoy one of many indoor sites while you cool off in the AC.
If hiking is your go-to for relaxing after a busy shift, head to Sabino Canyon, where you can take in a gorgeous desert sunset. You can also explore Saguaro National Park, which contains America's largest cacti forests. Kartchner Caverns State Park makes for another beautiful hike with a well-preserved intricate limestone cave system.
If you prefer to spend your time off among the city lights, you'll fit right in on Tucson's 4th avenue, where there is a wide variety of restaurants and a lively nightlife. You might also make a stop or two at The HangArt, a unique venue that doubles as an art gallery and a place to see live music almost every night of the week.
Tucson has a proud history of being the go-two place to film Hollywood Westerns. You can check out Old Tucson Studios, a functioning studio where many movies were made. While you're there, you'll feel like you've been transported to the Old West because you can encounter shoot-outs, can can dancers, and pre-prohibition era saloons at every corner.
