Allied Health Sterile Processing

Nashville, Tennessee

A travel nursing contract in Nashville means the chance to live in one of the most fun-loving cities in America. "Music City," as Nashville is commonly referred to, is obviously known for its vibrant music scene. Nashville is usually associated with country music, but pretty much every genre is represented in the city. Live musicians can be found throughout Nashville every night of the week, and Bluebird Cafe is a famous spot to hear songwriters play their own music. No matter what your schedule is, there will be something to see when you have a night off.

Some of the Nashville site-seeing staples include the Grand Ole Opry, the oldest continuous radio program in the US, the Country Music Hall of Fame, and the Johnny Cash Museum. Nashville has tons to offer beyond music and music attractions, though. Travel nurses interested in history can tour historical plantations and mansions right in Nashville. Sports enthusiasts can take in a Tennessee Titans game at Nissan Field, not far from downtown Nashville.

If you like to spend some time in nature during a travel contract, you'll love Radnor Lake. It is surrounded by miles of trails popular with hikers taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The General Jackson Showboat is a unique way to see the city from a boat while enjoying a show and a meal. The farmer's market is a popular weekly stop for Nashville locals.

Nashville is one of those places that has an incredible story about every corner of the city. Standing on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge, you can take in an all-encompassing view of the city including the riverfront and the downtown skyline and enjoy the beauty that makes “Music City” so special. If you want to make Nashville your temporary home, give Nurses PRN a call and see what we have available!
