Wisconsin is the Badger State, but you may know it as the cheese state or the dairy capital of the US. While on your travel RN job you'll find fun and interesting things to do spring, summer, fall and winter. During the winter you can have some fun snowmobiling on their 15,000 miles of snowmobile trails, and make sure you visit Eagle River the snowmobile capital of the world. Nurses, if you love hunting there are many spots to hunt deer and turkey. During the fall, it's a great chance to grab your camera and get some beautiful pictures of the leaves changing colors. Take the scenic trip to Door County, which is especially pretty that time of year.  Nurses love what Door County has to offer, especially the theaters, great dining, museums, and even lighthouses.  There is so much to see!

If you take a travel RN job during the spring and summer, you can head out to the many lakes and rivers and do some fishing. You can even head to the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. Make sure you grab your camera though, because the hall of fame is shaped like a Muskie. When temperatures get warmer it's time to head to Wisconsin Dells. This popular city is home to many waterparks and theme parks, none more famous than Noah's Ark Waterpark. Noah's Ark is the nation's largest water-themed park boasting a wide variety of waterslides, wave pools, and much more. When you're done at the wave pool, it's time to check out some events - bring your nurse friends along and enjoy some shows!

The winter time brings the World Championship Snowmobiling Derby. This annual event brings in more than 300 professional snowmobile racers from all over the world. Aside from the races, you will also be able to enjoy trail rides of the beautiful scenery in the north woods of Wisconsin. During the summer, you're able to enjoy a variety of festivals and events such as Summerfest. Summerfest, the world's largest music festival, attracts more than 900,000 people to its 11 stages. These stages, during the 11 day event, attract the biggest stars in music as well as emerging artists. It even features diverse food and beverage, four unique marketplaces, and interactive exhibits. There's also Country USA and Rock USA depending on your musical tastes.

On a daily basis, you'll be able to watch formation and aerobatic flying exhibitions performed by pilots from all over the world. You can also attend more than 500 forums, workshops, and seminars throughout the event.
