Job Description

A Physical Therapist is responsible for assisting injured or ill patients by helping them improve their mobility and relieving any physical pain they are dealing with. Physical Therapists work with other health care team members to provide the best over-all care for the patient to help them achieve highest recovery potential.

Responsibilities

As an Allied Health Physical Therapist your responsibilities consist of:
  • Evaluating the patient’s level of strength, balance and over-all mobility.
  • Implementing a rehabilitation plan to improve disabilities or impairments, and overcome limitations.
  • Assisting with various exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles, and teach the patient exercises that they can do on their own.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Physical Therapist within the past two years.
  • Current RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
