Job Description

A Physical Therapist is responsible for assisting injured or ill patients by helping them improve their mobility and relieving any physical pain they are suffering from. Physical Therapists work with other health care team members to provide the best over-all care for the patient to help them attain highest recovery potential.

Responsibilities

As an Allied Health Physical Therapist your responsibilities include:
  • Evaluating the patient’s level of strength, mobility and balance.
  • Creating a rehabilitation plan to improve disabilities or impairments, and overcome limitations.
  • Performing certain exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles, and teach patients exercises that they can do at home.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Physical Therapist within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
