The Operating Room Tech is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR. An Operating Room Tech will prep the patient and room for surgery and make sure all medical tools are sterile and functioning correctly.
As an Allied Health Operating Room Technician your duties include:
- Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the surgery.
- Predicting and providing supplies and instruments to surgeons during procedures.
- Labeling any items needed for laboratory examinations.
One year of experience as an Operating Room Technician within the past two years.
- Current RN License in good standing.
- Current BLS through American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
