Job Description

The OR Technician is responsible for working with surgeons in the OR. An Operating Room Tech will prep the patient and room for their operation and ensure all medical equipment is sterilized and operating correctly.


As an Allied Health Operating Room Tech your responsibilities consist of:

  • Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the operation.

  • Anticipating and providing supplies and instruments to surgeons during procedures.

  • Labeling any items needed for lab examinations.


One year of experience as an Operating Room Technician within the past two years.

  • Current Nursing License in good standing.

  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
