The Operating Room Tech is responsible for working with surgeons in the OR. An Operating Room Technician will prep the patient and room for their operation and ensure all medical tools are sterilized and operating correctly.
As an Allied Health Operating Room Tech your duties include:
- Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the surgery.
- Predicting and providing instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures.
- Labeling any items needed for laboratory examinations.
One year of experience as an OR Tech within the past two years.
- Active RN License in good standing.
- Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
