Job Description
The Operating Room Technician is responsible for helping surgeons in the operating room. An Operating Room Technician will prep the patient and room for surgery and make certain all medical tools are sterile and functioning correctly.ResponsibilitiesAs an Allied Health Operating Room Technician your responsibilities include:
Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the surgery.
Anticipating and providing instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery.
Labeling any items needed for laboratory examinations.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Operating Room Tech within the past two years.
Active Nursing License in good standing.
Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
Negative Drug Screen.
