The OR Technician is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR. An OR Tech will prep the patient and room for their operation and make certain all medical equipment is sterile and functioning correctly.
As an Allied Health Operating Room Tech your duties consist of:
- Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the surgery.
- Anticipating and providing supplies and instruments to surgeons during operation.
- Conserving any items needed for lab examinations.
One year of experience as an Operating Room Tech within the past two years.
- Current Nursing License in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
