Job Description

The OR Technician is responsible for assisting surgeons in the OR. An OR Tech will prepare the room and patient for surgery and ensure all medical equipment is sterilized and functioning correctly.

Responsibilities

As an Allied Health OR Tech your responsibilities consist of:
  • Monitoring the health of the patient before, during and after the operation.
  • Anticipating and handing supplies and instruments to surgeons during procedures.
  • Labeling any items needed for lab examinations.

Requirements

One year of experience as an OR Tech within the past two years.
  • Active RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
