Job Description

An Allied Health Occupational Therapist is responsible for the care of patients with mental, physical or social. They help patients of all ages who have been dealing with complications since they were born, or newly disabled patients due to an illness or accident.

Responsibilities

As an Allied Health Occupational Therapist your duties consist of:
  • Aid patients perform day to day tasks and jobs.
  • Provide advice on ways to modify their environment to better suit their needs.
  • Prepare and implement a rehabilitation plan with the patient and continually {oversee|assess|analyze|monitor| their progress.
  • Coach the patient and their family members on different ways to cope with and improve their current disabilities or complications

Requirements

One year of experience as an Allied Health Occupational Therapist within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
