Washington, DC has tons of must-stops. When you have some time away from your travel assignment, go exploring in the National Mall.  The two miles of land sits between the Capitol Building, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and White House. You can also go to the famous Smithsonian Museums. 

There's much more to DC than the national monuments. Even in a large city, the outdoor enthusiast will have plenty of places to go. Rock Creek Park, for example, is filled with hills and trails perfect for biking, running, or hiking. You can also rent a boat and go kayaking or sailing in the river. 

There is always some sort of celebration going on in Washington, DC. During Passport D.C., for example,  you can go into any of the embassies on Embassy Row to get a taste of that particular country. During warmer months, there are outdoor movies projected every week at different locations, sometimes outside the Capitol Building. Job Description

The Radiology Tech works with the radiology team to perform x-rays of the patient’s tissues, organs, or bones. Radiology Techs must be able to use medical technology necessary to diagnose a variety of health conditions.

Responsibilities

As a Radiology Tech your duties consist of:


  • Preparing the examination room and equipment necessary for the procedure.

  • Positioning patients for their procedure and monitoring them throughout the procedure.

  • Documenting results from x-rays taken and reporting this to the patient’s physician.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Radiology Tech within the past two years.


  • Active Radiology Tech License in good standing.

  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.

  • Negative Drug Screen.
