Job Description
CA Registered nurses needed ASAP, specializing in PCU. Day and Night shifts available. Multiple Openings throughout the San Diego county. 1. Expected to demonstrate proficiency in EKG interpretation. 2. Expected to demonstrate proficiency in caring for cardiac patients at the intermediate level. 3. Also manage patients with ventricular assist devices. 4. A progressive care unit (PCU) or Step Down unit offers the unique opportunity to care for patients upon transfer from ICU through discharge. 5. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. General Function for all RNs Under supervision, RNs carry out routine patient care assignments, work in controlled patient care situations and carry out established nursing procedures. The RNs are expected to comply with the standards of Practice for Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses in their State Administrative Code.
